Crew Carwash offers Student Loan Repayment Assistance Plan
Carwash to help managers pay off student loan debt faster
(INDIANAPOLIS) June 30, 2016 – Crew Carwash, a long-standing Central Indiana carwash organization, announces today a brand new initiative aimed to help managers pay back their student loan debt faster. Through the Student Loan Repayment Assistance Plan, Crew will pay $1,200 per year -$100 each month- toward team members student loans, paid directly to the lender.
The Student Loan Repayment Assistance Plan will be offered to all Crew managers and will be run by a third party. Crew estimates 40-50 team members will immediately benefit from the program.

This initiative is something we’re really proud to offer to our team members and it will also help us to continue to attract and keep top talent.”
The average student loan debt has reached nearly $30,000, and with current federal loan interest rates, has a final cost of over $35,000 over a 10-year term. The Student Loan Repayment Assistance Plan can reduce the term of team members’ loans by 25 percent, enabling them to repay the loan in seven-and-a-half years compared to 10 years.
This new program will go into effect July 2016.
This is the latest of several new employee benefits the organization has rolled out in the last year. Recently, Crew increased its starting wage for associates to $10 an hour. Crew also offers a generous Tuition Assistance program for college, providing up to $2,500 per year – a benefit that is unique to Crew and paid directly to the student. Crew currently provides approximately $100,000 annually in tuition assistance to 100 team members.
