Crew Carwash Raises Over $44,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters

INDIANAPOLIS (September 6, 2016)Crew Carwash, a long-standing central Indiana carwash organization, announces today that it is donating $44,019 to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

As part of its seventh annual Crew for Kids fundraiser, which took place Saturday, August 27, Crew Carwash committed to donating 50 percent of all Works washes, a $15 value, and Ultimate washes, a $19 value, at all 27 locations to Big Brothers Big Sisters. Crew also accepted cash donations at all locations throughout the day.

The initiative resulted in a total of $44,019 to be donated to four local Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies that serve markets in which Crew has locations. The agencies to receive the proceeds from this fundraiser include: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Lafayette, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Vigo County.

“As part of our efforts to help children throughout Indiana, we are so proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters,” said Sally Grant, executive vice president of Crew Carwash. “Our team members look forward to our Crew for Kids fundraiser every year and we are thrilled to be able to give back to the communities in which we serve.”

In total, Crew has raised more than $394,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters since its inaugural Crew for Kids fundraiser in 2010.
