Be Big for Kids!

Mike’s Carwash Donates $92,300

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of several communities in Indiana and Ohio, Mike’s Carwash was able to donate $92,300 to Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2012.

The money was raised during our Mike’s Mentors Kids fundraiser, where half the proceeds of every
Works wash, a $15 value, was donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters.  The event took place at all Mike’s Carwash locations, supporting eight different Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies in both states.

Mike’s donations will help offset the cost of programming for one-to-one youth mentoring in the communities where the fundraisers were held.

“We couldn’t be more proud to partner with such an outstanding organization, and happy to support their mission to bring positive change to children facing adversity.  We’re very grateful to our customers who helped make it happen,” said Mike’s CEO Bill Dahm of the donation.

Big Brothers Big Sisters, one of the oldest and largest youth mentoring organizations in the U.S., partners with parents, guardians, volunteers, schools, donors, and others in the community to help youth in the program achieve higher aspirations, greater confidence, educational success and avoidance of risky behaviors.

Thank you for helping us support Big Brothers Big Sisters in their quest to change lives for the better, forever!
