Crew Carwash Raises More Than $6,000 for Down Syndrome Association Northwest Indiana
ST. JOHN (July 31, 2021) – Crew Carwash, a long-standing Hoosier-based carwash organization, announces today that it is donating $6,291 to the Down Syndrome Association Northwest Indiana.
During its Grand Opening Weekend, which took place July 17-18, Crew Carwash provided a free Ultimate Wash, a $20 value, to any customer who visited the new facility in St. John, located at 9705 Wicker Ave. Crew accepted cash and credit card donations all weekend long, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Down Syndrome Association Northwest Indiana.
The initiative resulted in a total of $6,291 to be donated to DSANWI, an organization that provides resources to individuals with Down syndrome and their families in the Northwest Indiana region.
“As part of our continued efforts to give back to communities throughout Indiana, we are so happy to give this donation to the Down Syndrome Association Northwest Indiana, said Sally Grant, Executive Vice President of Crew Carwash. “This partnership not only helped raise money for this wonderful organization, but also gave us the chance to serve first-time customers in the St. John area and hope they become lifetime customers.”
Funds raised will benefit the Down Syndrome Association Northwest Indiana, located in Schererville. DSANWI will use these funds to help achieve their mission to raise awareness, provide support, and to advocate for inclusion. The check will be presented on Saturday, July 31, at Crew Carwash in St. John.
